"Standing like curious children, a trio of 'rose pansies' turn their little faces toward the sun and seem to watch the world go by."
Artist comment: "I used 140 # hot-pressed watercolor paper as a ground for these little 'happy faces'. First I painted the flowers and leaves and then when they were dry, I washed in the impressionistic background.
