French Quarter shops are open again, despite adversity. This large original oil painting is painted in a broad impressionistic style with bright and sunny colors. It may be hung unframed if desired. (The edges of the 1" deep canvas are also painted, and a picture wire kit is included.) This is a one-of-a-kind work, and Diane's certificate of authenticity will be enclosed. Many of her New Orleans scenes are now in print, and this is an oportunity to own an original. ARTIST'S STATEMENT ABOUT THIS PAINTING: When I was going through my recent photos of New Orleans, I decided to paint this scene. I felt that the Open banner was very symbolic of how brave and resiliant the people of New Orleans are.
