As one walks through the French Quarter in the evening, the light from the old street lamps cast their magic spell. This large evening scene of New Orleans is an original oil done in Diane's modern impressionist style. It is painted on a 1" deep gallery wrapped canvas which may be hung unframed, if desired. (The edges are also painted, and a picture wire kit is included for instant display.) This is a one-of-a-kind work, and a certificate of authenticity will be enclosed. (Many of Diane's New Orleans scenes are now in print.) ARTIST'S STATEMENT: This painting is taken from a photo I shot of Chartres Street on my last trip to New Orleans.
