Glowing early morning colors illuminate this street in the French Quarter. The view is Chartres Street, looking towards the St. Louis Cathedral. Broad brush strokes have been applied in a free, semi-abstract style. This original oil painting may be hung unframed if desired. (The edges of the 1" deep canvas are also painted, and a picture wire kit is included for instant display.) This is a one-of-a-kind work, and Diane's certificate of authenticity will be enclosed. ARTIST'S STATEMENT: I am always amazed at how beautiful the morning light is in New Orleans. A small portion of the final bid will go to New Orleans Habitat for Humanity.
