The Eucalyptus, a flowering tree, is mostly navtive to Australia, with more than 700 species. Pictured is the commonly known Yellow Box Eucalyptus and is a medium sized to tall tree. Having never seen a eucalyptus tree in the raw, through research I was drawn to the delicate flowers as a focal point.
My idea was to enhance the image through techniques which included painting on layers in Studio Artist, compositing the layers for the final impressionistic result and emphasizing the frilly edges of the flowers to make them stand out.
