Everyone loves a parade, but especially kids and they like it more if they can participate in one.
The kiddie parade draws a crowd every summer in a small village in Spain. Children from the age of 3 up participate as drummers and trumpeters until they are older and able to play other musical instruments. The village music school is a happy place where the children gladly go to learn basic skills in order to be a member of the band during fiesta. One can hear them practicing alone days before the event and with the band leader in the evenings.
This image was constructed by cropping out the girl and then flipping the image in a fractal process in Studio Artist. Parts were selected for further processing and digital painting.
I tried to convey the spirit of fiesta by focusing on the boy who is seriously trying to keep the rhythm of the band leader by highlighting the image intentionally.
