This is a painting on a wood block from 2002 or 2003. It is a self portrait but has my old hair color and style. I started this series of block paintings when I was living in the desert. Now I've lived in so many different places and my hair has been longer and shorter and lighter and darker. Mostly I've changed inside though, when I look at that painting I remember the person who was painting it and it doesn't seem like me anymore.
