This was one of the first paintings that I had done like this. Using shapes and different tones to create images. This has always been my favorite. I started with a photo of myself that I really enjoyed and one that captured an intimate view of myself. And one that shows maturity. After choosing this photo, i scanned it onto my computer and began using different filters within the photoshop program. I wanted to distort the picture so that it would look different. Not like other typical self portraits or charactures. Painting has already been sold.
