This painting was done for the "Ripped Off" show. I was ripping off the work of Olga Lindelle, from her painting "frida and Friends". Bright colors are a trademark of Olga's work; what fun it is to work with such a palette. It is a very different painting style for me,,,it was a good experience for me to try something outside of my comfort zone. I am glad I chose such a fun painting of an artist whose work I just love,,it was the perfect project for getting back into painting after taking a few months off. I hope Olga likes it.
