Created for the July 2007 RIPPED show. This is a fabric interpretation of Tyler Smith's painting, Madia. It is a combination of sheer, velvet, hand dyed and batiked fabrics that are appliqued in a collage style and then machine quilted with additional embellishments of thread, ribbon, trim, beads and other fibers.
