Ever since I was a little girl I have been in love with magic, art and folklore. My favorite story has always been Alice in Wonderland, the belief in an extraordinary and fantastic world co-existing right alongside of our everyday reality has been a driving force throughout my life. To this day I still look for white rabbits. This piece was inspired by the idea that our souls are able to walk in both worlds, the realm of the living and the realm of the spirit. It is during dreamtime that we are able to visit our own personal wonderland and experience the magic that exists right along side us. Leaving Wonderland is a glimpse into that moment when we step back through the mirror ready to re-enter our consensual reality lives.
