“Goldfish Fantasy” is a whimsical representation of the graceful dance of the goldfish in my water garden. This large painting depicts goldfish swimming playfully among pond weeds. A sense of depth is created by graduating the background color from deep blue to light aqua which leads the eye upward toward the light shining through the surface of the water.

Pallete knife strokes are used to emphasize the texture of the scales and pond weeds. The main pallete colors used are ultramarine blue, phthalocyanine green, bright aqua green, deep green, cadimum orange, yellow and white.
