"Georgine" was previously a Monster High Draculaura doll. Then I got a hold of her, muahahaha...now she is a kind of creepy soubrette who prefers tutus to too much face paint. She and her balloon Rufus like to sit outside the ice cream parlor and freestyle sing to passers-by. Part clown, part candy princess, all sweet! I made the entire outfit from scraps of fabric and some polymer clay, a bit of elastic, thread, and velcro. Each piece is removable- such as the tutu is not attached to the jumpsuit, the hat is not permanently fixed to her head, her shoes come off, just like a regular doll. I would not say I am selling this as a toy- it is selling as ART- and will not really stand up to too much play. So, don't buy it for your child. There are small parts, they could choke or something. I don't know, I don't have kids. Georgine's face was repainted with acrylics and a bit of chalk pastels, as well as matte and shiny sealants. Her tiny fingernails are painted to match Rufus, who is made from a re-purposed plastic easter egg covered in paper mache with gold wire for his string. (He is removable from the stand, and slightly posable as well.) This repaint comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
