This week's theme: Orchids

The Orchidaceae - or orchids, are a diverse and widespread flowering plant that have a long history of capturing our imagination. Their blooms are prized for their beauty, colours and fragrance. Rare orchids are particularly sought after. Orchids are one of the two largest families of flowering plants and are certainly one of the most popular.

This was a bloom from a Mothers Day present I was giving to my Mother in law. I used a single small halogen shining from above. This depth is my favorite.
