This oil painting was inspired by an episode that occurred many years ago. I was awakened one night when my young daughter came into my room. Clearly sleepwalking, she was searching and seeming to pluck something out of the air. I gently asked what she was doing, and she replied, "Rebecca and I are gathering feathers."
