Original acrylic from a series of paintings of birds and their nests. These are very expressive paintings with a subject always on the move. Birds are movement creatures and with this particular painting, I was more interested in that aspect of an wild animal (bird) in association with its nest more than what species of bird they are. The reasoning behind this series of paintings was to paint birds with their nests... it was not to depict a specific bird, but birds in general. My thought process was not to render an Eagle and its young one, as it was to depict a cycle in nature of nest building, having an offspring and moving on as a natural process of the world. Painted on gallery wrapped canvas 1.5" deep edges finished and ready to hang.
