Wild birds - birds not living in captivity. What exactly do we mean when we say "wild birds'? There are a lot of birds that are found living in the wild as well as in captivity. For this show, "wild birds" refers to birds that are not usually found living anywhere other than in the wild or special facilities that showcase nature (zoos, aviaries, botanical gardens, etc). In short, we want to see birds that are not typically domesticated.

"Wild Birds" is open to all media. A statement detailing the materials, process, what made you choose your subject, and if applicable, why you chose to portray your subject the way you did, is required. This increases understanding of your work and significantly enhances the experience for the viewer. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged. Eligible entries need to meet all points of the prospectus. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to edu@ebsqart.com.
