Eagle Couple
When I go out to photograph I don't choose my subjects, they pick me. It is my job to document what presents itself to me. A mating pair of American Bald Eagles, ok, click, click !
Then, I try to frame and reframe, wide, tight, abstract, etc.
Generally, I choose an area to cover when I shoot, trying to be prepared for what animals I know are likely to be encountered.
Then the breathing and the seeing begins. Seeing a good image takes practice and awareness.
The open mind gets you started and then the subject takes you to another place, the Art has a mind of it's own and wisks you away.
This image was chosen for this show because it represents the ultimate in wild birds.
Made on film with a 35mm Minolta Camera and an 800mm lens.
Thank you for providing the eyes to view this piece!
Enjoy!
