The woman in pink is the predominant feature of this painting. This is just one of a series of paintings with people and musical instruments that I have done. The woman is faceless so the observer has an opportunity to envision themselves in the face of the beautiful pink dressed woman who is almost dwarfed by the red drums behind her. The shape of the drums and the shape of the girl imitate one another.
