I've never seen a young mother so confident and ready to enjoy every minute of being her son's mother. She was so calm and seemed to know what to do every minute. It was impressive.

When I photographed them in this light, I had to underexpose the negatives badly in order to not use artificial light. So then getting a good scan and image was quite a challenge. I love to pull a satisfactory picture out of a difficult image.
