I simply love dragonflies, ever since I was a child there seemed to be something magical about them.

One of the "wisdoms" a dragonfly is to hold is it's ability to break down illusions, thus the name I gave to this piece.

This dragonfly represents Mother Earth, herself (notice the "earth" she holds at her core) as she watches over the seas and earth and all that inhabits them with a deep compassion and love.

I created this dragonfly painting on a 16" X 16" canvas with acrylic.

This piece is a part of a series I have created called "Torn Canvas" series.

This piece sold to a private collector in Texas.
