
Stuffed Yellow, Red, and Green Chili Peppers -
HOT-HOT-HOT!
My favorite recipe of peppers is to clean and slice the peppers in half longwise for stuffing. Cream room temperature cream cheese with processor or mixer. Gently stir in drained lump crabmeat. Stuff the peppers and top with cooked crumbled bacon bits (or a shake of paprika). Place in 350 oven on a paper lined pan until peppers are cooked and cheese has browned. About 20 minutes. These peppers are very mild when baked! Yummm!! Party time!
The artwork was the result of having peppers of biblical proportions growing in the garden this fall. All the pretty peppers all in a row on the kitchen counter were just to irresitable not to paint, stuff , and bake for eating. If you look closely the background behind the yellow peppers is dark navy blue and fades into black behind the green ones. Enjoy!
