Prospectus
Food. Art. Art about food. What a wonderful idea. Create a work of art about a favorite food or dish and provide a recipe or your favorite way to prepare it. It can be as complicated as Beef Wellington or as simple as rinsing fresh berries. Be sure to include why you like it and what makes it so special to you. Is it the texture? Does the taste remind you of some wodnerful something? Was it your Grandmother's favorite recipe? Is it something that you discovered all on your own and love to share or is it a guilty pleasure to be eaten alone? Whatever it is - shout it to the world, celebrate it and tell everyone how they, too can indulge in your favorite gastronomic delight.
"In The Kitchen With EBSQ: Art and Food" is open to all media, including actual food, although your entry does not need to be edible. At the close of the show, the EBSQ editorial staff will be putting together their favourite entries for an actual cookbook!
A statement detailing the materials, process, and what made you choose your subject is required. It increases understanding of your work and significantly enhances the experience for the viewer. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged. All points of the prospectus should be met.
