Painting for me is a way that I can express who I am to the world. My abstract expressions are projections of my inner most thoughts and feelings. They are snap shots of my life and emotional being, they are self portraits. Who am I? Where do I come from? What am I doing here? What is my reason for being? How do I fit into the world? These are just some of the questions that I try to answer every time that I step into my studio. As I travel through life I grow, and as I grow so does my art and the way that I express myself. To me, art is more than something that I do. It is a part of who I am.
