An ode to Blue Mermaid was inspired by this months Nibblefest theme and my love of creepy mermaids. She is done entirely in tones of blue and something about her is so melancholy. The eyes are a little surprising as they have been coated in a "glow in the dark"  paint. The effect is very subtle but I figured any creature who would live so deep in our imaginations and the sea would have some level of fluorescence
