The Death Waltz

Here you see a macabre gathering of dark shadowy lost souls while on a sojourn enroute to their predetermined fate.

They are haunting apparitions dancing the waltz of death, that ushers them into the netherworld.

Right now they are caught in that space between life and death, but they are not sad that they are no longer tethered to the mortal (material) world, so they celebrate with the dance while they await their fate.

I am entering this piece in the "Dia De Los Muertos" show, since it has to do with death and lost souls being transported into the next world.
