Redhead playing piano

This is one of my earlier pieces done in watercolor (I have since graduated to acrylics).

I am a big music fan, and I felt I had to do some music related art and this is what I came up with... I just love the delicate and serene look on this lady's face. Wonder what kind of music she's playing on that piano? She's seems to be very involved and the music is transporting her to somewhere pleasant... It seems to be bringing her great joy! Music does have the power to do that, doesn't it? As the old saying goes: "Music soothes the savage beast"...

I've been told that she resembles Tori Amos (guess it's that red head of hair, coupled with the fact that she's playing piano), but I didn't set out to paint Tori, it just kind of turned out that way.

Her nails are finely manicured in a shade of fire-engine red, that matches her lipstick. Yes, with her flaming red hair, this lady is RED HOT! ;)
