Bucket-O-Roses (drip style)

This is my entry for the ebsq FOTM (Flower Of The Month) show. The theme this month is the Rose.

I wanted to do something unusual and unique with regard to the flower's style and I came up with this piece; I call it my "Bucket-O-Roses" and it's done in my very organic, abstract drip style.

You can see the contrast of the green stems with the red roses above them, but the overall feel of it remains fuzzy and abstract. There is also an abstract cobalt blue drip design on the "bucket". The red roses are defined with a small swirl of white on each one, and the clean, white background contributes to the fresh-as-Spring feel of the piece.

I believe it's rustic, whimsical and romantic all at the same time.
