I am entering Red Tulip in the State and National Flower Exhibit.  Tulip is the National Flower of Turkey.  I took the basic image on one fine Spring day.  The tulips were just a bit past prime, but I thought that gave them an interesting shape.  I worked on this in Photoshop and created this version using multiple layers and textures.  I painted away most of the texture from the main flower leaving texture on the others for more visual interest.
