Watermedia is the term for any media an artist uses that must be mixed with water to become fluid and workable. Two common types of Watermedia are gouache and watercolours.
This painting was done from a photo reference in a book 100 years old - depicting the French Broad River in Asheville, NC. It was juried into and received an Hon. Mention at the 2007 Verdugo Hills Art Association spring show
