Art: Butterfly Maiden by Artist Jasmine Ann Becket-Griffith
One of the largest paintings I have ever done, I am very proud of it! It is called "Butterfly Maiden" and I'm incredibly pleased with how it turned out. It is a more realistic painting and features a gorgeous long haired maiden (modeled after my friend and fellow artist Miriam Bos). She is standing in front of a stunning sunset and is surrounded with beautiful monarch butterflies - a truly magical scene. It is HUGE - I have included a photo of myself standing next to it just to show the sheer size of this painting - it truly must be seen in person to be appreciated fully! It is an acrylic painting on canvas measuring a whopping 24"x30".
