The colour blue is many things. It is both light and dark. It's the colour of a sunny sky and the night sky in the hours before the sun arrives and after the sun departs. Blue is the colour the mystic sea and the tranquil pond. There is steely blue and piercing blue. Blue can be electric and it can soothe. No other colour dances on surfaces and sinks into the depths like blue.
