This week's theme: Still Life: Food
The still life is a standard for artists. The shapes and colours of everyday objects please and fascinate. Human beings love to eat. Eating represents sustenance, community and brings us pleasure. Is it any wonder that food often finds it's way into our art?
A sensuous still life with a beautiful bottle of Olive Oil, the light reflecting on its green liquid, and sumptuous tempting artichokes, on a deep red background.
