This week's theme: Still Life: Food
The still life is a standard for artists. The shapes and colours of everyday objects please and fascinate. Human beings love to eat. Eating represents sustenance, community and brings us pleasure. Is it any wonder that food often finds it's way into our art?
I've been eating a lot of eggs lately, and liked the way a particular one broke open...so - I painted it (with a couple of its friends for company).
