Art: A Basket Of Onions by Artist Carol Thompson
"A Basket Of Onions"

"Three red onions lie as they have tumbled out of a basket of onions."

Artist comment: "I had a lot of fun painting these onions in a basket. I saw them at a farmer's market and was captivatd by the composition. I used pastel on a warm toned sheet of Mi-Teintes paper. I had a large onion on my painting taboret, and actually purchased a 'red' onion to study for accuracy."
