Sunflower Ladybug Vignette

This week's theme: Helianthus
They are named for the sun. Their symmetry is based on Fibonacci numbers. They are native to the Americas, but have traveled widely and have captured the eyes and imagination of people all over the world.
This original woodcut is Number 6 in a series of 9.
I have always loved trees and forests; I find them to be mysterious places. I read and loved the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and this is how I see Bilbo.
