This week's theme: Helianthus

They are named for the sun. Their symmetry is based on Fibonacci numbers. They are native to the Americas, but have traveled widely and have captured the eyes and imagination of people all over the world.

This is a putz style house, painted and embellished by me. It is made of new and recycled cardboard, paper, glue ,sparkles and has a hole in the back for a tree light to illuminate it. I have included two bottle brush trees that I have hand dyed for a true vintage look. I only have a few of these left. They measure 5.5" wide by 4"deep and 4" high.
