I painted this piece at the San Diego Wild Animal Park for the Flamingo Keeper. The park was fairly quiet during the week back then and it was a pleasure to be out there painting and observing the flamingos. They aren't always quiet, though, one gets started and before you know it, the whole flock is calling out.
