Art: Stop and Smell the Vibrancy by Artist Cynthia Gaub

Fabric Collage of myself and some flowers... I always think I need to slow down and focus on my life and my art, so I like the phrase "stop and smell the flowers" Created in January 2009 after selecting my "focus word" for the year; Vibrancy. Made with commercial prints, antique recycled dress and hand-dyed fabrics. Machine quilted and appliquéd. Face is based on a photograph of myself taken a couple of years ago.
