This boudoir piece is meant to draw the viewer to the idea that maybe a few winks will do...sometimes that's all we need to finish the day in a more refreshed state of being. When I paint, I have Classical music playing softly in the background and I get carried away in the 'zone' where I feel that I'm no longer in control of the outcome...you know? Something like what happens while in a 'dream state'... and you don't want to wake up!
