To my way of thinking, this is a watercolor wash. It had its beginnings as a walnut ink drawing done with a speedball pen nib. I built the washes around her form shadows and used a little cobalt in the cast shadows. Her hair was very intriguing and seemed to have a life all its own. It measures 9"x12" and is on heavy watercolor paper.
