While sitting on my back porch I noticed something so tiny on a bright yellow honeysuckle flower. I ran inside quickly and grabbed my camera to get a pic. Its rare for me to photograph but I love it and should do it more often. I ran backoutside and sure enough the little guy was still seemingly mesmerized or perhaps confused over where he was? I immediately thought of the childrens book "Are You My Mother, by P.D. Eastman. I always had so much fun reading this particular one to my children "repetatively"as they enjoyed my sound affects and sometimes drama. Can you hear this baby grasshopper saying in a sweet little voice, "Are you my mother?" Ah the memories from a simple childrens story to a wee little green baby grasshopper. Hope he finds his real mother soon ;-) I am happy to share with you this great shot of this adorable baby grasshopper who seemed to be as curious as I was looking at him ;-)
