A visitor to our home over the Memorial Day holiday. He/She came to stay for the BBQ and left on Monday afternoon. What I find fascinating about this particular photo is the capture of the separation of the bee's hind quarters from its front. It seems to hang by a thread. Something I never noticed prior to this photo. Shot with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 105 Macro.
