Art Show: Macro Bug Photography

They are the most diverse group of life forms on the planet. They make up over half of the living things on Earth. They are everywhere yet they often go unnoticed. “Macro Bug Photography” is a show to showcase these small and fascinating creatures.

“Macro Bug Photography” is a media specific show for macro photography featuring insects and bugs.

We strongly recommend all artists include a statement with each entry, as statements can enhance the experience for the online viewer. When possible, please include as much information - name, habits, etc, of the insect in your photograph as well as some information about where and how you took the photograph.

If the relevance of an entry to the show's theme is not readily apparent, we will request that the artist supply a short statement of explanation. We also encourage you to include detail shots of your entries. This will allow the viewer to full appreciate your work as small details can be lost in an online environment.
