"Reading the Signs" illustrates past and present practices used for divination. Some of the practices referenced are astrology, i ching, numerology, crystal gazing, reading bones, etc. I flourished the image with patterning and texture and embedded hidden meaning for those who enjoy spending time investigating. The image is digital but still bares my expressive line-work and colorist nature. A digital medium was chosen so I could add greater depth to my image by undulating between dozens of layers. Divination is a topic of special interest to me. I often reference and or incorporate ritual and ceremony into my art. Prints are available upon request. Please do not steal the image.
