The Sunflower is the state flower of Kansas. I planted sunflower seeds in my backyard and took digital pics as they grew. I used my WACOM tablet and Photoshop Elements to experiment with different presentations. Then, I projected an outline on a 23 x 36 watercolor stretched canvas, and painted the sunflower using watercolor and acrylic. I took a digital pic of the completed canvas and used digital painting with the WACOM to produce this version.
