This magical piece depicts variations of the pasque flower which is an anemone. These flowers grow wild throughout the state of South Dakota and its blooming is one of the first signs of spring in South Dakota. A member of the buttercup family, the pasque is a small, lavender flower. Other variations of the anemone are white and red.
The paper of this artwork has been taped before painting to leave a natural white border around the artwork. The artwork will look stunning floated in a frame or matted in a traditional manner. The art is signed by the artist which is a one of a kind piece.
