Cannot help myself...the Iris is the Queen of the Perennial garden at our house. I have been known to knock on the strangers doors if their garden has an Iris visible that I dont have in my collection. Actually we have had people help themselves to plants in our garden since it is on a busy street and the front of our house is the only sunny location where Iris can be planted.It is heartbreaking to find that a favorite plant has been removed. The Iris is the state flower of Tennessee.
