This is my little "Iris Faerie" and her wings are made out of "real" iris petals.

Like my little faeries . . . my curiosity is ever present. I began this piece trying a different way to dry some petals of some iris's and other flowers that I had. What happened was awesome . . . some of the petals "fused" themselves to the papers. This is one of those papers, along with my own imagination ~ the result is my "Iris-winged faerie".

In one of the corners, our little faerie reaches to touch the petals of another flower. ( To create the flowers in the upper corners, I used some of my pressed, dried flowers)
