This shy light-footed little faerie is rarely seen and can only be spotted when she lights upon a eucalyptus branch...which is a very rare sight indeed. Having been lucky enough to witness such an event, I thought to depict the event in a painting. I've been drying and pressing flowers and leaves for 4 years, and have always wanted to incorporate them into my art. The eucalyptus leaves are from my Christmas wreath I had last year.
